Where we work

QSA works with international development partners primarily in the establishment of improved agricultural methods and increased crop varieties (food security), safe water for drinking (water security), poverty elimination, capacity building and environmental sustainability. Training in organic food gardens (permaculture design) has been a major component of our work over the past fifty years.

Our work is based on long term partnerships that work towards the goal of economic self-sufficiency and environmentally sustainable living. We work together with partners to ensure that their plan to move towards self-sufficiency is achievable. (Photo: The community at St Jude's, Uganda)

Currently QSA's main projects are with partners in Cambodia, India, Uganda, and Indigenous Australia. Other projects are in East Timor, the Philippines and Zimbabwe.Support for our projects in Australia comes from the Indigenous Concerns Fund. Overseas projects are funded by our Overseas Aid Fund, with support from AusAID. To visit some of our current projects, click on the country below.
